And considering Jude Law has five kids (Rafferty, 20, Iris, 16, Rudy, 14, Sophia, 7 and Ada, 18 months), it’s no surprise that he knows a thing or two about fatherhood. He’s been quoted in the past saying: ‘Success, and even life itself, wouldn’t be worth anything if I didn’t have my children by my side. They mean everything to me.’ (Aw!)

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are parents to two daughters: Esmerelda, 2, and Amada, 7 months. Speaking to GQ for their January issue, he said: ‘Eva’s the dream mother, and they’re dream babies, and it’s like a dream that I’m having right now. I’m dreaming it all. So I feel so lucky… When you meet your kids you realise that they deserve great parents. And then you have your marching orders and you have to try and become the person that they deserve… My life [has] changed. And thank God it did.’

Adam Levine recently became a father for the first time to his and Behati Prinsloo’s daughter, Dusty Rose, and it seems that he’s loving every minute of it. ‘I’ve been a parent for three weeks: What do I know? We’re certain John’s going to be one of the coolest celebrity dads in Hollywood – not least because he’s passing on the best surname in history – and also ‘cos he’s spoken out how he plans to co-parent the daughter he conceived via IVF with Chrissy Teigen. Speaking to E! this week he revealed that he’s going to ‘slow down’ and take some paternity leave so he’s on hand for Chrissy 24/7: ‘I feel like, my mentality is just to be open and ready to help with whatever I can, and to be as loving to my wife and to our daughter as much as possible.’ he said. ‘I think paternity leave is good. I think it’s good for me to be home with Chrissy and helping her with whatever she needs, and I want to get to know our little baby!’ Too cute for words…

Eva Longoria has been an actress, a producer, and an activist, but now, she’s taking on a brand-new role as a first-time mom.

On Tuesday, Longoria welcomed a baby boy named Santiago Enrique with her husband Jose Antonio Bastón.

Eva and Jose shared the first photo of their little boy with Hola! USA, telling the site, “We are so grateful for this beautiful blessing.”

In March, she talked about how she intends to raise a feminist son.

“I’m so excited that I’m having a boy because I think the world needs more good men,” she said in an Instagram video on International Women’s Day.

“This boy, my son, will be surrounded by very strong, educated, powerful women and I think it’s important that he sees those types of role models in his life so he knows how to support it, how to applaud it and how to honor it.”

The new mom is currently hard at work directing episodes of Black-ish and producing the ABC drama pilot Grand Hotel. She continued to work far into her pregnancy, posting pictures of herself on set up until this month.
