And considering Jude Law has five kids (Rafferty, 20, Iris, 16, Rudy, 14, Sophia, 7 and Ada, 18 months), it’s no surprise that he knows a thing or two about fatherhood. He’s been quoted in the past saying: ‘Success, and even life itself, wouldn’t be worth anything if I didn’t have my children by my side. They mean everything to me.’ (Aw!)

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are parents to two daughters: Esmerelda, 2, and Amada, 7 months. Speaking to GQ for their January issue, he said: ‘Eva’s the dream mother, and they’re dream babies, and it’s like a dream that I’m having right now. I’m dreaming it all. So I feel so lucky… When you meet your kids you realise that they deserve great parents. And then you have your marching orders and you have to try and become the person that they deserve… My life [has] changed. And thank God it did.’

Adam Levine recently became a father for the first time to his and Behati Prinsloo’s daughter, Dusty Rose, and it seems that he’s loving every minute of it. ‘I’ve been a parent for three weeks: What do I know? I don’t know anything, but it’s kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly’ he told Ryan Seacrest. ‘There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It’s a beautiful experience.’

We’re certain John’s going to be one of the coolest celebrity dads in Hollywood – not least because he’s passing on the best surname in history – and also ‘cos he’s spoken out how he plans to co-parent the daughter he conceived via IVF with Chrissy Teigen. Speaking to E! this week he revealed that he’s going to ‘slow down’ and take some paternity leave so he’s on hand for Chrissy 24/7: ‘I feel like, my mentality is just to be open and ready to help with whatever I can, and to be as loving to my wife and to our daughter as much as possible.’ he said. ‘I think paternity leave is good. I think it’s good for me to be home with Chrissy and helping her with whatever she needs, and I want to get to know our little baby!’ Too cute for words…

Despite his sporting success over the years, David Beckham‘s greatest achievement is without a doubt being a proud father to his four children, whom he shares with wife Victoria Beckham. And in honour of Father’s Day, here at HELLO! Online, we have decided to take a look back at the retired footballer’s cutest moments with his kids, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper Beckham!

The celebrity dad previously gushed about his children, explaining how fatherhood has become his number one priority since he retired from football back in 2013. In an interview with InStyle last year, he shared: “My children mean the world to me. Being a parent is always the best thing, but it can also be challenging as well because you want to set the right example. I feel that I do, but sometimes you make mistakes as parents. He added: “The children are very proud of me. They’re back in London, but they’re very proud and they know that daddy’s receiving an award tonight. They know that I go on these trips and I come back and I explain the trips to them. It’s always something to be part of this organisation, I’m very proud.”

It’s clear the Beckhams love spending quality time with one another as the 42-year-old often takes to his Instagram page to share gorgeous pictures of his brood. He also spoke to HELLO! about the importance of family time, explaining: “My family is the biggest accomplishment I have. I’m so proud of Victoria and my children; they’re my greatest achievement.”

Although many would think he’s the coolest dad, Brooklyn was left cringing after his dad shared an embarrassing baby photo on Instagram in honour of his 18th birthday! In the adorable snap, which shows a young Brooklyn with a beard of bubble bath, the proud father wrote: “This little man turns 18 tomorrow so as you can imagine I have many photos to post so here we go … Happy 18th eve to my handsome young man and best friend … @brooklynbeckham @victoriabeckham #18mañana.”

In 2015, David revealed how he accompanied his eldest son Brooklyn – then 14 – on his first ever date. During an appearance on The Late Late Show, the sports star told James Corden: “On his first date – Victoria was in London – it was Valentine’s day, and he said he’d love to take this girl for dinner. I said ‘OK great’ and I called Victoria and she replied ‘Really?’ So Victoria said, ‘OK make sure you take him, and make sure you sit in the restaurant’. And I was like, ‘Really, you’re going to make me do that?” and she said, ‘Yes, that’s the only way I’m letting him go’.” He added: “So we took him to a sushi restaurant, and he sat at the bar and I sat five tables back. My daughter is 4 years old but when she turns 14, I’ll be closer than that!”

Celebrity-charity strategic alliances benefit both parties in multiple ways. Very importantly, they provide established as well as fast-tracking entertainers and athletes meaningful opportunities to leverage their current and growing stature to drive support to philanthropic causes they feel deeply about. For non-profits, the benefits of aligning with celebrities can be tremendous. Aside from having the services of people who care about their causes, the charities get spokespeople who can champion their positions and are regularly instrumental in helping to fundraise.

In a study of 165 talent agents and managers, more than four out of five of them have addressed the matter of charitable giving and personal involvement with their more successful entertainment clients. Many times the agents and managers are involved with helping them identify and work with charities that are synergistic.

According to Rick Flynn, Co-CEO and founding partner of LVW/Flynn and author of The High-Functioning Single-Family Office, “There are basically three levels of strategic alliances between celebrities and charities. The first level is where the celebrities commit some time and money. They will donate to the cause in various ways and attend some events. Their involvement acts as a magnet for other volunteers and contributors. The next level is where something of a joint venture takes place. This is for celebrities who focus on a particular cause and concentrate most of their philanthropic activities around that cause. The third level is where celebrities form their own charities of private foundations.”

According to John Bowen, founder of BSW Inner Circle, “For successful celebrities who are looking to become closely connected with a particular cause or to create their own charities or establish a private foundation, many personal factors habitually that goes into the decision. At the same time, aside from their agents and managers, a growing cohort of specialists can work with them to help them sort through their options and make decisions aligned with their philanthropic agendas and careers.

“When celebrities get seriously involved in philanthropic causes, many tax strategies can enable them to make their monies do more — usually, a lot more.” explains Frank Seneco, President of Seneco & Associates, an advanced planning specialist working with entertainers and athletes. “However, in our experience, most importantly, what is driving the trend of more and stronger celebrity-charity strategic alliances is the power and the fame that all kinds of celebrities have, which can be leveraged to benefit causes they care intensely about.”
