Holmes stepped out in a simple tee, below-the-knee pencil skirt, and spare sandals paired with oversize shades and a classic lady bag, offering up an elegant approach to casual daytime dressing.

Polished denim is having a moment—last week, the Duchess of Sussex wore an A-line denim dress by Carolina Herrera—and Holmes’s navy-on-indigo palette had an elongating effect. A snakeskin belt, Céline belt bag, and neutral-hued flip-flops rounded out the ensemble with polish and ease.
