$150M Investment in Mexico’s Luxury Resort & Entertainment Industry
Group Vidanta, Mexico’s leading resort operator and tourism developer, has signed a partnership with Hakkasan Group, a leading global hospitality company, with plans to invest $150 million into luxury entertainment at Vidanta Resorts in Mexico. A direct result of a recent visit to the Middle East, Daniel Chávez Morán, founder of Grupo Vidanta, and Hakkasan Group began discussing the potential to collaborate. Their efforts will bring the concepts of Hakkasan Group’s luxury lifestyle entertainment to Vidanta’s Luxury Resorts in Mexico.
This strategic partnership between Grupo Vedanta will be carried out in a long-term commitment that will bring new entertainment venues, dining, night clubs, and more to Mexico’s most popular beach destinations over the period of 5 years, beginning in late 2017. The first establishments will include two restaurants and a beach club at Vidanta Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo. The beach club will offer an extravagant “day-life” experience that evolves into a night-club, dining and cabaret experience by night.
